1. Introduction and acceptance of these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Chatty Shop Trading website, online store, WhatsApp order channel, social media communication channels, delivery services, store collection services, and any other services connected with the sale of products by Chatty Shop Trading.

By accessing the website, creating an account, placing an order, sending an order through WhatsApp, purchasing from the shop, or continuing to use any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies displayed on the website or communicated to you before completing your order.

Please read these Terms carefully. They may affect your rights and obligations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order with Chatty Shop Trading.

2. The basics of using the Chatty Shop Trading website and communication channels

The Chatty Shop Trading website and communication channels are provided for personal shopping and customer service use. The website may include product browsing, account registration, online checkout, order management, promotions, customer support, and links to WhatsApp or other communication platforms.

These Terms apply to:

·         Products purchased through the website, WhatsApp, social media, in-store communication, or any online platform controlled by Chatty Shop Trading.

·         Services provided in connection with those purchases, including delivery, express delivery for selected products, store collection, customer support, return handling, exchange handling and after-sales support.

·         Any content, images, descriptions, product information, prices, promotions or offers displayed on the website or shared by Chatty Shop Trading through its official channels.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to Chatty Shop Trading is complete, accurate and up to date, including name, phone number, delivery address, email address and any special delivery instructions.

3. Registration and customer account

To register or place an order through the Chatty Shop Trading website, you must be legally able to enter into a purchase transaction under applicable law. Where a customer is under 18 years of age, the order should be placed with the approval and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

When registering or ordering, you must provide accurate and complete information. Chatty Shop Trading may reject, delay or cancel an order where information is incomplete, inaccurate, suspicious, or impossible to verify.

You are responsible for updating your account details when they change. Chatty Shop Trading will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, wrong delivery attempts or communication issues caused by incorrect customer information.

4. Password and security

If you create an account, you may be required to create a password. You must keep your password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with any other person.

You are responsible for all orders, actions, account updates and communications made using your account or password, unless caused by Chatty Shop Trading’s negligence or a system error under its control.

If you know or suspect that another person has access to your account or password, you must contact Chatty Shop Trading customer service immediately. Chatty Shop Trading may require you to change your password, verify your identity, suspend the account temporarily, or close the account if there is a security concern or suspected misuse.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Chatty Shop Trading website and official communication channels is protected by copyright, trademark, database rights and other intellectual property rights. This includes but is not limited to text, product images, logos, banners, videos, designs, layout, product descriptions, graphics, icons and promotional materials.

You may view, download or print one copy of website content for personal and non-commercial use only, provided that all copyright, trademark and proprietary notices remain intact.

·         Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, customer accounts, servers, systems, networks or data.

·         Interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage or impair the website or any network connected to it.

·         Use the website to send spam, junk messages, chain messages, fraudulent messages, fake orders, abusive content or unauthorized advertisements.

·         Impersonate any person, company, employee, brand, supplier or customer.

·         Upload, post, transmit or share material that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene, abusive, threatening, misleading, discriminatory or infringing.

·         Copy, store, scrape, extract or reuse product data, images, content or prices for commercial purposes without permission.

·         Submit false information, fake payment confirmations, invalid addresses, misleading warranty claims, or repeated orders without intention to receive or pay.

Chatty Shop Trading reserves the right to refuse orders, remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, report misuse, and take any lawful action where these Terms are breached.

7. User content and use of social media channels

Chatty Shop Trading may operate or participate in social media pages, message boards, comments, review sections, direct messages and other customer interaction channels. Customers are advised not to post personal information publicly, including full address, private phone number, payment information, ID details or confidential information.

Any opinions, comments, reviews or posts made by customers or third parties are their own responsibility and do not necessarily represent the views of Chatty Shop Trading.

By sending or posting content to Chatty Shop Trading, including reviews, photos, videos, testimonials or feedback, you grant Chatty Shop Trading a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, reproduce, display, translate, adapt and publish that content for customer service, marketing, quality improvement and promotional purposes, unless you clearly request otherwise in writing.

8. Third-party websites and external links

The website may include links to third-party websites, maps, payment gateways, delivery partners, social media platforms, WhatsApp links, supplier pages or other external resources. These links are provided for convenience only.

Chatty Shop Trading is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices, policies or performance of any third-party website, platform, payment provider, delivery partner or external service that is not directly controlled by Chatty Shop Trading.

9. Commercial advertisements, sponsorships and brand materials

The website may display advertisements, brand materials, partner content, supplier descriptions, product brochures, promotional banners or sponsored content. Each advertiser, supplier or brand owner is responsible for ensuring that its materials are accurate and comply with applicable laws and policies.

Chatty Shop Trading will make reasonable efforts to remove or correct inaccurate advertising or product information once identified, but it will not be responsible for errors in third-party advertising materials, supplier claims, manufacturer specifications or brand-provided content unless required by applicable law.

10. Website availability and technical service

Chatty Shop Trading aims to provide a reliable online shopping service, but the website may sometimes be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical errors, server issues, internet problems, security checks or circumstances beyond our control.

If you experience an error on the website or during checkout, you may contact customer service for assistance. Chatty Shop Trading will try to correct reported issues as soon as reasonably possible, but does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

11. Product specifications, images and prices

Chatty Shop Trading takes reasonable care to describe and display products as accurately as possible. However, product images are for illustration and representation purposes. The actual product may differ slightly in colour, packaging, dimensions, accessories, design details or appearance due to photography, screen display, supplier updates or manufacturing changes.

Product descriptions, specifications and performance details may be based on information supplied by manufacturers, suppliers or brand owners. Such information may change without prior notice.

If you require specific information before purchasing, such as dimensions, compatibility, warranty details, package contents, model number, colour, availability, delivery method or installation requirements, you should contact customer service before completing your order.

All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyals (QAR) unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges, express delivery charges, installation charges or other additional fees may be added separately during checkout or confirmed before completing the order.

If a product price is displayed incorrectly due to a technical error, input error, promotion error or system issue, Chatty Shop Trading is not obliged to supply the product at the incorrect price. We may contact you to confirm the correct price, cancel the order, or refund any amount actually paid for the affected product.

12. Product availability and order acceptance

All products are subject to availability and while stocks last. Displaying a product on the website does not guarantee that the product is available at the time of order confirmation or delivery.

Chatty Shop Trading may contact you if an item is out of stock, unavailable, discontinued, incorrectly listed, damaged before dispatch or not deliverable to your location. In such cases, we may offer an alternative product, wait for restock, cancel the affected item or refund the amount paid for that item.

An order is considered accepted only when Chatty Shop Trading confirms the order and prepares it for dispatch, collection or delivery. Chatty Shop Trading reserves the right to limit quantities, reject bulk orders, cancel suspicious orders, or refuse orders placed for resale or unauthorized commercial purposes.

13. Delivery, express delivery and store collection

Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer during order placement or confirmed through customer service. Customers must ensure that the delivery address, phone number and access instructions are accurate and complete.

Chatty Shop Trading currently serves customers in Qatar through its available delivery and collection options, unless otherwise stated on the website or during checkout. International shipping is not available unless expressly confirmed in writing by Chatty Shop Trading.

Delivery options, delivery fees and estimated delivery times may differ based on product size, availability, order value, delivery location, delivery partner, selected service and operating conditions. The website may display policies such as express delivery for selected products, return options, or free delivery for orders above a specified value. These policies may be updated from time to time and the final applicable delivery charge will be the amount shown at checkout or confirmed by customer service.

For large items such as desks, chairs, furniture or heavy gaming products, the customer must ensure before ordering that the product can be delivered safely through building entrances, doors, stairways, elevators and corridors. The customer must also ensure that the delivery area is accessible, safe and ready for receiving the order.

If delivery fails because the customer is unavailable, the address is incorrect, access is blocked, the customer refuses to receive the order, or the customer requests a change after dispatch, additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply.

Store collection, where available, requires order confirmation and may require proof of order or customer identification. Customers must inspect the order upon collection where reasonably possible.

14. Cancelling or changing your order

Customers may request cancellation or order changes before the order is prepared, dispatched, collected by the courier, or delivered. Chatty Shop Trading will try to accommodate cancellation or change requests where reasonably possible.

Once an order has been prepared, shipped, handed to a delivery partner, delivered, installed, assembled, collected by the customer or specially arranged upon customer request, cancellation may not be possible or may be subject to delivery, handling, re-delivery, collection, card transaction, installation or restocking charges.

Chatty Shop Trading has the right to determine whether an order has already been prepared, dispatched or delivered. If payment has already been made and the cancellation is accepted, any refund will be processed according to the refund provisions below and the rules of the payment method used.

15. Defective, damaged or incorrect products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, incomplete or different from the product ordered, you must contact Chatty Shop Trading customer service as soon as possible and provide the order details, photos or videos of the issue, and the original packaging where requested.

Where the issue is confirmed by Chatty Shop Trading, the product may be eligible for repair, replacement, exchange, refund, credit note or another suitable solution depending on the product type, condition, warranty terms, supplier policy and applicable law.

Chatty Shop Trading may refuse a defect claim where the issue results from misuse, incorrect installation, improper handling, liquid damage, physical damage, accident, unauthorized repair, modification, power issues, normal wear and tear, incompatibility with customer equipment, use outside product instructions, or damage occurring after delivery due to the customer or a third party.

16. Return, exchange and refund policy

Chatty Shop Trading offers returns and exchanges in accordance with the policies displayed on its website, the condition of the product, the category of the product, the reason for return, and applicable law. The website may state a return period such as easy returns within 14 days. The applicable period starts from the date the customer receives or collects the product, unless otherwise stated for a specific product or category.

To be eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind, the product must generally be new, unused, unopened where applicable, complete with all accessories, manuals, gifts, labels, seals, packaging and original invoice or proof of purchase. The product must be in a condition suitable for resale.

Products that have been opened, used, installed, assembled, damaged, altered, customized, missing parts, missing packaging or affected by customer misuse may not be accepted for return or exchange unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect.

Delivery charges, express delivery charges, installation charges, assembly charges, payment gateway charges, return pickup charges, handling charges or other service fees may be non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed error by Chatty Shop Trading or a confirmed product defect covered by the policy.

16.1 General return and exchange procedures

·         The customer must contact customer service within the applicable return or exchange period and provide the order number, invoice, product details and reason for return.

·         Chatty Shop Trading may request photos, videos, product serial number, packaging images, troubleshooting steps or physical inspection before approving the return, exchange, repair or refund.

·         Returned products must be in their original packaging and complete with accessories, gifts, manuals, cables, tags, seals and any free items supplied with the order.

·         Where the product is returned because of a confirmed defect or confirmed wrong item, Chatty Shop Trading may arrange a suitable solution according to the product type and policy.

·         Where the product is returned because the customer changed their mind, the customer may be responsible for delivery, collection, re-delivery, installation or service charges.

·         Refunds are normally processed through the same payment method used for the purchase, unless Chatty Shop Trading approves another method such as store credit or replacement invoice.

·         Refund timing may depend on the bank, payment gateway, card issuer or internal processing cycle. Chatty Shop Trading will submit approved refunds within a reasonable period but cannot control bank processing delays.

16.2 Category-specific exceptions and special conditions

The following category-specific rules may apply in addition to the general return and exchange policy:

·         Gaming accessories, keyboards, mice, headsets, controllers, webcams, speakers, microphones and electronic accessories: once the box is opened or the product is used, the item may not be returned due to change of mind. Return or exchange may be considered only for confirmed manufacturing defects, incorrect item, or warranty-covered issues.

·         Computer and office accessories: compatibility with the customer’s laptop, computer, console, software or operating system must be checked before purchase. Compatibility issues caused by the customer’s equipment may not be treated as product defects.

·         Gaming desks, chairs, office furniture and large items: customers must check size, dimensions, room space, delivery access and suitability before ordering. Once assembled, installed, scratched, used or damaged, these items may not be returned due to change of mind unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

·         Promotional bundles, combo offers and free gifts: where a product purchased as part of a bundle is returned, the full bundle and any free gift may need to be returned, or the value of the retained item or gift may be deducted from the refund or credit note.

·         Products with hygiene concerns, wearable items, personal-use items, opened sealed accessories or items with removed protective seals may not be returned unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect.

·         Products damaged due to misuse, excessive load, liquid exposure, incorrect voltage, incorrect charging, unauthorized maintenance, physical breakage, poor installation or use contrary to product instructions are not eligible for return or free exchange.

·         Warranty terms, where applicable, may be provided by the manufacturer, supplier or authorized service provider. Chatty Shop Trading may assist customers with warranty handling but warranty approval may depend on the relevant supplier or service center.

16.3 Credit notes, replacement invoices and internal approvals

Where a refund is not issued in cash or through the original payment method, Chatty Shop Trading may issue a credit note, replacement invoice, exchange invoice or store credit equal to the approved value of the returned product, subject to company approval and policy.

The customer may be required to provide the original invoice, customer name, mobile number, product details and any required approval documents before a credit note or replacement invoice is issued.

Chatty Shop Trading may require approval by customer service, the department supervisor, store manager, duty manager or management before completing returns, exchanges, refunds, repairs, credit notes or special exceptions outside the standard period.

17. Payment methods, cards and online payment security

Payment options may include the methods displayed at checkout, in-store payment, online payment, card payment, cash on delivery or any other method made available by Chatty Shop Trading from time to time. The availability of a payment method may vary depending on the order type, delivery area, product value or internal policy.

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways or banking service providers. Chatty Shop Trading does not intentionally store full credit card details on its own website systems where payment is handled by a third-party gateway.

Customers must not send full card details, passwords, OTP codes or confidential payment information through WhatsApp, social media or email. Chatty Shop Trading will never ask customers to share confidential banking passwords or one-time passcodes.

All transactions are charged in Qatari Riyals (QAR) unless otherwise stated. If a foreign card or foreign currency account is used, the customer’s card issuer may apply exchange rates, conversion fees or bank charges, which are outside the control of Chatty Shop Trading.

18. Promotions, discounts and debit calculation

Promotions, discount codes, free delivery offers, bundle offers and special prices are subject to the terms displayed with the offer and may be changed, limited, withdrawn or cancelled at any time before order acceptance.

When an offer states that a percentage discount will be applied to eligible purchases, the discount will be calculated on eligible products only. Delivery charges, express delivery fees, installation fees, service fees, accessories, non-eligible products, excluded brands, gift cards or other supplementary charges will not be discounted unless expressly stated in the offer description.

Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated. If a promotional price, discount code or offer is displayed incorrectly due to a technical or input error, Chatty Shop Trading may correct the error, cancel the affected order, or offer the customer the option to proceed at the correct price.

19. Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

Chatty Shop Trading may update, modify or replace these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes may be posted on the website, communicated by email, displayed during checkout, or announced through any appropriate communication channel.

The updated Terms will apply to use of the website and orders placed after the date of publication or notification. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the website and should not place further orders.

20. Right to suspend or close an account

Chatty Shop Trading may suspend, restrict or close a customer account, refuse service, cancel an order, prevent future orders or take any lawful action if the customer breaches these Terms, misuses the website, submits fake orders, abuses staff, provides false information, attempts fraud, repeatedly refuses delivery, violates payment rules, or engages in conduct that may harm Chatty Shop Trading, other customers, suppliers or partners.

21. Our responsibility to customers

Chatty Shop Trading will use reasonable care in operating the website, processing orders, displaying product information, arranging delivery and assisting customers. However, the website and services are provided subject to availability and technical limitations.

Chatty Shop Trading will not be responsible for:

·         Website incompatibility with customer devices, software, browsers, networks or internet connection.

·         Temporary technical errors, service interruptions, maintenance periods or delays caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, payment providers, delivery partners or events beyond our control.

·         Losses caused by inaccurate customer information, unavailable customer, refused delivery, blocked access, incorrect installation by the customer or misuse of products.

·         Business losses, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, interruption of business, or indirect losses where products are purchased for personal use.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

22. Privacy and personal data

Chatty Shop Trading may collect and use customer information to process orders, deliver products, verify payment, communicate with customers, provide after-sales support, improve services, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Except as stated in these Terms or in the Privacy Policy, customer information will be handled in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements. Customers should avoid sending sensitive personal or payment information through public comments or unsecured channels.

23. Miscellaneous terms

You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without written approval from Chatty Shop Trading. Chatty Shop Trading may transfer its rights and obligations to another company or legal entity where customer rights are not materially affected.

If Chatty Shop Trading does not enforce a right immediately, this does not mean that the right is waived. The company may enforce its rights later or in another situation.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, payment gateway failure, supplier delay, delivery disruption, government action, natural events, emergency conditions or other force majeure events.

24. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations applicable in the State of Qatar, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

The customer and Chatty Shop Trading should first try to resolve any complaint or dispute through customer service. If the matter cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to the competent authorities or courts in Qatar, subject to applicable law.
